Hed Kandi is a UK based company known for their dance compilations and live music events. The Hed Kandi brand is all about being chic, fashionable, and party! It was only natural for them to expand their brand by coming up with their own line of headphones. Hed Kandi is now here in the Philippines courtesy of Digits Trading, the company behind Digital Walker and Digital Hub. These headphones are the perfect gift for your girlfriend/wife/partner especially if you need some sort of peace offering (hehe).
They offer different kinds of headphones and we were able to check out two of them — the Pure Kandi and the Discotheque.
Hed Kandi Pure Kandi
The sample unit we got for the Pure Kandi was the pink-white variant so I wasn’t able to test it properly myself. I lent it to my wife who’s been using it for the last few days and here are her comments:
Very fashionable – nice color! Makes it different from other dull black headphones.
Soft ear cups – very comfortable and you won’t feel it’s there even if you’ve had it on for a few hours.
Sound Quality – big improvement compared to the stock Apple earphones.
Attention Grabber – got a lot of comments from people who recognized the Hed Kandi brand.
The Hed Kandi Pure Kandi Headphones sell for Php1,990.
Hed Kandi Discotheque
The Hed Kandi Discotheque has a very retro design with the leather band support complimenting the steel frame. It’s an on-ear headphones that’s really made for dance, trance, and bass heavy tracks. If you’re into that kind of music then you’ll love the Hed Kandi line. If you’re more into detailed tracks that require separation then you might want to steer clear and maybe go for Marshall Majors instead. The Discotheque comes in black but it also comes in purple and blue.
The Hed Kandi Discotheque sells for Php1,190.
The headphones are available in Digital Hub and Digital Walker branches.
