Dual rear cameras, Ultra Thin Glass among key specs

After we got details about the top-tier Galaxy S20, specs for Samsung’s upcoming clamshell device was revealed by Max Weinbach.

Based on the information that he got, the Galaxy Z Flip will have a Dynamic AMOLED display with Ultra-Thin Glass to protect the display. Like the Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Z Flip’s display will have a visible crease when the display is unfolded. Unlike most Galaxy flagships, the Galaxy Flip Z will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner just like the Moto RAZR.

Moving onto the rest of the specs, the Galaxy Z Flip will be powered by a Snapdragon 855+ processor for all regions and will have dual 12-megapixel rear cameras—one of them being an ultra-wide-angle snapper. As for charging, the Galaxy Z Flip will support 15w wired charging, along with wireless and reverse wireless charging.

Aside from the Galaxy Z Flip, Weinbach added that the true successor of the Galaxy Fold will arrive by Q2 of 2020. Key specs will include an 8-inch display, a Note-like S-Pen, the same Ultra Thin Glass found on the Galaxy Z Flip, a 108-megapixel main rear camera, and a Snapdragon 865 processor.
