The Pro variant will come with a better display and triple rear cameras
As we wait for May 14 for the official launch of the OnePlus 7 family, new reports reveal more about the upcoming phones.
For the OnePlus 7, leakster Max J. said that it will closely resemble the OnePlus 6T with the same notched 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display. The display resolution will stay the same at Full HD+, and you still get an in-display fingerprint scanner. Battery capacity will remain the same at 3700mAh, and the OnePlus 7 will have the normal 20w Warp Charge tech.
While the OnePlus 7 is expected to rock a dual rear camera setup, Max J. said that it will have a 48-megapixel f/1.7 main camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. A 16-megapixel snapper will be used for the front camera.
As for the OnePlus 7 Pro, Max J. confirms earlier rumors that the Pro variant will have a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the OnePlus 7 Pro is a bigger 4000mAh battery with support for 30w Warp Charge.
Max J. adds that the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 48-megapixel f/1.6 main camera with OIS and EIS, 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS.
Both OnePlus 7 variants will come with a Snapdragon 855 processor with at least 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Configuration options include up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. In addition, the Pro variant will support UFS 3.0.
As far as pricing is concerned, the OnePlus 7 is expected to start at $579(~Php 30.2k) while the Pro variant will start at $749(~Php 39k). A 5G version is expected to launch alongside the two models and will retail for around $899(~Php 46.8k).
