vivo’s quest in being the leader in the selfie game started with the V5S, with its bright 20-megapixel f/2.0 front camera with selfie softlight for quality selfies that can match those taken in a studio.

With the V7+, vivo stepped things up by equipping it with a 24-megapixel front camera, along with an 18:9 display.

AI is the name of the game with the V9, as this additional feature helped the V9’s 24-megapixel front camera (the same one found on the V7+) in taking flattering selfies especially when portrait mode is used.

Don’t be deceived by the low megapixel count on the X21’s front camera: Aside from AI tricks, the X21 comes with dual pixel tech for better selfies even in low light and cleaner portrait selfie shots.

As for the V11, vivo went for more megapixels with a 25-megapixel front camera. The numbers only tell one part of the story, as vivo made improvements with its selfie AI tricks with AI Face Shaping and AI Portrait Framing. The former focuses on beautification that is more natural than ever, while the latter helps you get the right composition for that selfie.
