Here’s the Complete List of Zenfone 2 Variants With Prices

Some of the issues of the specs has been cleared up

Ever since ASUS launched the Zenfone 2 in CES, there’s been a lot of confusion on what exactly you’re getting for your money. Initially people expected that the $199 Zenfone 2 to be the one to have 2GB of RAM, 5.5-inch full HD display and the newest Moorefield Intel Atom processor, but unfortunately, that’s not the case. Today, we finally have a clear picture of what the SKUs will be for the Zenfone thanks to its official launch in Taiwan.

Based from the photos released by ASUS Taiwan, it’s clear that there will be three distinct SKUs of the Zenfone 2 – the ZE551ML, which is the top of the line Zenfone model with the full HD display and the 4GB variant, as well as the 2GB memory variant that was officially unveiled during CES. This SKU will also get the same metallic brushed finish that we saw during CES and EIC Carlo Ople’s hands-on during MWC. The next is the mid-range Zenfone 2 – the Z550ML. This SKU basically has the same specs as the lower-end ZE551ML with 2GB of RAM, though its display gets downgraded to only HD from full HD plus it gets a matte finish back that’s reminiscent of the previous Zenfone 5.

The last SKU is the ZE550CL, which is the 5-inch, HD version that only has 2GB of RAM and the same matte back as the ZE550ML. Only this Zenfone essentially has the same processor that was present in the Zenfone 5, though now it has LTE capabilities.

The Zenfone 2 ZE551ML 2 (4GB) retails at NTD 8,990 (Php 12,625) and NTD 6,990 (Php 9,816) (2GB), while the ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE550ML will go for NTD 5,990 (Php 8,412). The cheapest Zenfone 2 retails at NTD 4,990 (Php 7,007).
