Here’s the New MacBook Pro of Apple

Apple just accidentally leaked their new MacBook Pro when MacRumors spotted the photo above in the system files of the new Mac OS Sierra update. This is pretty much all the confirmation we need on the leaks and rumors about the new MacBook Pro having major design and feature changes.

What are the hardware changes we can spot from the photo? Here’s a quick rundown:

  • There’s second mini-display OLED strip above the keyboard that replaces the traditional “function” keys. This LED display is multi-functional depending on what you’re doing with your MacBook.
  • The new MacBook Pro will have a Touch ID sensor. Yay! No need to keep typing your password when you open your MacBook Pro.
  • It gets a slimmer bezel around the display and around the keyboard. More screen surface area is always good!
  • Speakers are now on each side of the keyboard (which was the set-up before with the old MacBook Pro 15-inch).

There are obviously more changes apart from what we’ve listed above but those are the ones we can spot from the photo. We’re expecting to see a major bump in power and storage (fingers crossed) while they hopefully keep the existing price point.

Apple is set to announce the new MacBook Pro tomorrow. Watch this space for more updates as we get them.
