AMD has officially given us their suggested MSRPs for their new Ryzen 5 CPUs in the Philippines today. The new processors are meant to go up against Intel’s Core i5 family of processors, and is aimed at the traditional customers of Intel’s silicon. There are four models under AMD’s Ryzen 5 family: the Ryzen 5 1600X, Ryzen 5 1600, Ryzen 1500X and the Ryzen 5 1400. Here’s how they stack up:
AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
- 6 cores, 12 threads, 16MB L3 Cache, 3.6GHz base clock, 4.0GHz boost clock
AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- 6 cores, 12 threads, 16MB L3 Cache, 3.2GHz base clock, 3.6GHz boost clock
AMD Ryzen 1500X
- 4 cores, 8 threads, 16MB L3 Cache, 3.5GHz base clock, 3.7GHz boost clock
AMD Ryzen 5 1400
- 4 cores, 8 threads, 16MB L3 Cache, 3.2GHz base clock, 3.4GHz boost clock
Pricing for the new Ryzen 5 processors are as follows:
- AMD Ryzen 5 1600X: Php 13,800
- AMD Ryzen 5 1600: Php 11,995
- AMD Ryzen 5 1500X: Php 10,500
- AMD Ryzen 5 1400: 9,250
Pricing for the new chips aren’t too bad, with a few pesos off of the global SRP of the Ryzen 5 1600X, Ryzen 5 1600, Ryzen 1500X and the Ryzen 5 1400, which are $249, 219$, $189 and $169 respectively.
