HMD Global announces the Nokia 3.1

Modest upgrades from last year’s Nokia 3

In HMD Global’s press launch in Moscow, they unveiled an update to the Nokia 3 with the Nokia 3.1. Aside from getting an 18:9 display, the Nokia 3.1 gets an octa-core processor, a bigger battery, a higher resolution camera, and an updated design aesthetic that includes copper detailing.

  • 2GB/3GB of RAM
  • 5.2-inch HD+ IPS display, 1440 x 720 resolution
  • 16GB/32GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD
  • 13-megapixel rear camera, AF, 1.12um sensor size, f/2.0 aperture, LED flash
  • 8-megapixel front camera, AF, 1.12um sensor size, f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree wide angle
  • Dual SIM
  • 3G, LTE
  • WiFi, Bluetooth
  • GPS, A-GPS, NFC, Fingerprint sensor
  • 2990mAh battery
  • Android 8.0 Oreo (Android One)

The Nokia 3.1 will be available this June and will be priced starting at 139 Euro(~Php 8.5k) for the 2GB/16GB model.
