HMD Global Joins Notch bandwagon With The Nokia X

Yes guys, it has a notch!

Nokia’s recent crop of devices managed to avoid the notch design trend/bandwagon, but HMD Global is finally giving in. The company recently launched the Nokia X in China, and judging by the photos available during the launch the phone proudly displays a notch on the front much like its contemporaries today.

Aside from the notch, the Nokia X (or as it is rumored, the Nokia X6) also has a glass back as well as dual-camera Zeiss-branded lens. Sadly there isn’t much to go on specs-wise for the phone as HMD Global has not announced availability or even the full spec sheet. Rumor has it the Nokia X has a 5.8-inch 19:9 display, along with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Processor options are varied, as the phone is expected to come with either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor or a MediaTek P60 chipset.
