Right before 2019 comes to a close, HMD Global announced that they will be holding an event on December 5, where they will launch a new phone (or two) in Cairo, Egypt.
Following HMD Global’s release calendar, the Nokia 8.2—the successor to last year’s Nokia 8.1 and one of HMD Global’s best mid-range phones to date—and possibly the Nokia 2.3 is expected to be unveiled.
Details about the Nokia 8.2 remain scarce, but we expect it to have a smaller waterdrop notch, a newer Snapdragon 7-series processor (possibly the Snapdragon 730), upgraded Zeiss cameras, and a bigger battery. On the other hand, the Nokia 2.3 is expected to be an iterative upgrade over the Nokia 2.2.
We should know more about what Nokia is up to in the coming days.
