There are two possibilities for this event
HMD Global recently sent invites for an October 4 event in London. The said invite hints at a new Nokia phone.
Our guess for the event is that HMD Global will either launch the Nokia 7.1 Plus or the oft-rumored Nokia 9. Alleged press renders of the Nokia 7.1 Plus have surfaced, sporting a notched display, dual Zeiss rear cameras, and a premium metal and glass build.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus is rumored to be Nokia’s first Snapdragon 710-powered phone, while the Penta rear camera-equipped Nokia 9 will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor. Both phones will be under the Android One program as well.
There’s also the possibility that HMD Global might launch both phones on October 4, though it is best to wait and see HMD Global’s next move.
