Right on schedule

Here’s some good news to Nokia 6.1 (aka Nokia 6 (2018)) owners: HMD Global Country Manager Shannon Mead confirmed that all locally-purchased Nokia 6.1 units will receive Android Pie starting October 31.

The announcement is right on schedule, as HMD Global promised Android Pie to the Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus by October. This makes it the third Nokia phone to officially receive Android Pie, following the official rollout for the Nokia 7 Plus last month and the beta rollout for the Nokia 6.1 Plus this month.

To recap, the Nokia 6.1 is a notchless, aluminum-bodied mid-range phone powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor, and sports a Zeiss-branded single rear camera.
