Led by a 48-megapixel main camera
The Honor 8X is one of the brand’s most successful models last year: the mid-range contender came with a large screen, capable cameras, decent battery life, and a great price.
As expected, Honor is preparing for the Honor 8X’s successor with the Honor 9X Pro. According to a tweet, the upcoming mid-range phablet will have a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 main camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor, 2-megapixel macro camera, and 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
Other rumored features include a bigger 4000mAh battery, 20W fast charging, 25-megapixel front camera, and a 3D glass back. Like the upcoming Nova 5, the Honor 9X Pro is expected to use Huawei’s new 7nm-based Kirin 810 processor.
No word yet as to when the Honor 9X Pro will launch, but we expect it to debut after the Nova 5.
