Honor Launches Budget-Centric Honor Play 3e in China

It’s an Honor 8S with a better processor

Honor launched a new entry-level phone in China with the Honor Play 3e. The phone looks very similar to the Honor 8S that launched in the Philippines last month and has almost the same set of specs as well. The only difference is that the Honor Play 3e uses an octa-core Helio P22 processor, which is an upgrade over the quad-core Helio A22 used on the Honor 8S.

The Honor Play 3e is priced at CNY 699(~Php 5.2k) for the 2GB/32GB variant and CNY 899(~Php 6.8k) for the 3GB/64GB variant.

  1. Either get the Realme C2 (Helio P22) or Redmi 7A (Snapdragon 439). Both have bigger batteries than these and at the same price.
