Among the many Kirin 710-powered phones both Huawei and Honor launched in the past year, the Honor 8X is the one that stands out the most. Armed with a big display, glass back, generously-sized battery, and competitive price at launch, the Honor 8X is one of the better—if not best—big-screened mid-range phones in 2018.
After managing to reach 10 million global sales in 173 days, Honor Vice President Xiong Junmin said that the Honor 8X has officially reached 15 million global sales, making it the most successful Honor phone to date.
With the Honor 8X’s accolades, the upcoming Honor 9X has big shoes to fill. Slated for a July 23 launch, the Honor 9X will be using Huawei’s 7nm Kirin 810 processor and will have a pop-up front camera.
