Speculated to be the Honor View 20
Looks like the punch hole display will be the next phone design trend after sliding mechanisms. Following Huawei and Samsung‘s announcements, Honor is the latest to join the fray, as it released a teaser photo of their upcoming phone, along with the launch date and venue.
The phone’s silhouette looks very similar to the ones Samsung and Huawei used for their teaser posters. However, Honor’s “See the Unseen” tagline could imply that they might use a different approach—perhaps an under-the-display selfie camera, which is said to be the penultimate solution to eliminating the notch. Like the Nova 4, the Honor View 20 is rumored to use a Kirin 980 processor.
The poster does not reveal much, save for a January 22, 2019 launch date at Paris. We will know more about Honor’s mystery phone in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
