Goodbye TouchID, Hello FaceID

While we are stoked at the radically redesigned iPhone X, some Apple fans would feel disappointed with the absence of TouchID–a useful iOS tech that will be replaced with a new system called FaceID. With Apple’s facial recognition system, the iPhone X will do a 3D scan of the user’s face, using the front camera and a dedicated infrared transmitter and receiver.
