Meet the Android Budget-Friendly phone: HTC Explorer

HTC Explorer hits Philippines online stores

The HTC Explorer is the newest budget Android smartphone on the block that was announced last September. It has Android 2.3 Gingerbread for it’s OS, 600MHz CPU, and a 3.2-inch HVGA 480×320 screen. The phone also has a decent 3.15 MP camera. It will come in different colors making it more attractive and hip especially for the students and young professionals who can’t afford the higher tier phones yet. The good news is that the HTC Explorer is finally available here in the Philippines through various online sellers like Widget City.

Weee so many colors, lol!

Widget City is selling the HTC Explorer for just Php11,500 putting it a little over the fast-selling Smart Netphone which retails for Php9,900.

Here’s the official promotional video from HTC:

  1. My previous comment did not get posted:

If this is being sold at 11,500 by widget city, a better deal would be the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray for 12,800, also from widget city. Better specs for a few more bucks.
