HTC One X, V, and S Announced at MWC

Meet HTC's newest flagship: HTC One X

HTC One X – quadcore 4.7-inch monster phone

The new flagship handset announcements just keep coming from the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain! Next up is Taiwan’s HTC who just just took the wraps of the HTC One X! This new smartphone from HTC packs a 1.5GHz quad-core NVidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, and comes bundled with Beats Audio (probably the same iBeats with the HTC Sensation XE and HTC Sensation XL). HTC is positioning this as the “quad-core powered entertainer” because of the specs, Beats Audio technology, and the 8-megapixel camera.

HTC One X Spec Sheet

  • NFC (Near Field Communications)
  • 1800mAh battery

This new baby will rollout globally in April. No word yet on the price. As usual it comes in both black and white.

Here’s a promotional video that HTC just uploaded right after announcing the phone in Barcelona.

By the way, HTC also announced two other smartphones carrying the “One” brand: the HTC One S (4.3-inch display, HTC’s thinnest smartphone) and the HTC One V (entry level with 3.7-inch display). Both run dual-core processors but the hardware design is obviously inspired by the HTC One X.
