HTC Unwraps the Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle Smartphones

Promoted as “the biggest leap since the original Desire”, the Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle phones are proof that HTC is still playing the game of smartphone-making. Both gadgets have been featured in numerous spec leaks, making HTC’s official unwrapping a bit expected. Let’s check them out.

HTC Desire 10 Pro

  • MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor
  • 3GB or 4GB RAM
  • 5.5-inch FHD IPS LCD display, Gorilla Glass
  • 32GB or 64GB expandable storage, via microSD
  • 20-megapixel rear camera, f/2.2, laser AF
  • 13-megapixel front camera, f/2.2
  • Fingerprint sensor, HTC BoomSound
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow (HTC Sense)
  • 3000mAh battery, fast charge

HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor
  • 2GB or 3GB RAM
  • 5.5-inch HD Super LCD, Gorilla Glass
  • 16GB or 32GB expandable storage, via microSD
  • 13-megapixel rear camera, f/2.2
  • 5-megapixel front camera, f/2.8
  • HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition, Hi-Res certification, Dolby Audio
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow (HTC Sense)
  • 2700mAh battery, fast charge

The Pro version has better specs overall, and logically, a higher price tag, while the Lifestyle model boasts better audio capabilities. We’re not exactly sure what that ancient Snapdragon 400 is doing on the Lifestyle model in this day and age, though.

No exact pricing details yet from HTC, but both phones will be released internationally by the end of September and early November.
