A toned-down MatePad Pro
Aside from the Nova 7 series, Huawei also made the MatePad official. A toned-down version of the MatePad Pro, the MatePad uses a conventional IPS display with the 8-megapixel selfie camera placed on the bezel area. Powering it is a Kirin 810 processor paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The rear camera is an 8-megapixel snapper with autofocus, and it has the same 7250mAh battery as its Pro sibling, though you only get 18w wired charging.
Like the Pro model, the vanilla MatePad has support for M-Pencil and Harman Kardon-tuned quad speakers.

The MatePad is priced at CNY 1899(~Php 13.7k) for the WiFi only 4GB/64GB model, CNY 2199(~Php 15.8k) for the WiFi only 6GB/128GB model, and CNY 2499(~Php 18k) for the WiFi+LTE 6GB/128GB model.
