Huawei adds to more products to its ecosystem offerings here in the Philippines with the MatePad and Sound X.
The MatePad is a toned-down version of the MatePad Pro that goes for a conventional 10.8-inch 2K IPS display and an 8-megapixel selfie camera located on the top bezel. Powering it is a Kirin 810 processor and sports a Harman Kardon-tuned quad-speaker system. Other features include 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 7250mAh battery with 18w wired charging, EMUI Desktop, and support for M-Pencil.
The Sound X is a HiFi Bluetooth speaker that features audio tech from Devialet. The speaker itself has 60w dual subwoofers and six tweeters for an immersive, 360-degree sound. Other features of the Sound X include NFC, and Bluetooth 5.1.
The MatePad is priced at Php 20,990 while the Sound X is priced at Php 19,990. Both products will be available on July 31. Those buying the MatePad from July 31 to August will get the M-Pencil and Flip Cover, along with 15GB Huawei Cloud storage for 1 year and various vouchers from Booky Prime, Viu, GCash, PayMaya, and PesoLoan.
