Featuring leather-backed P20 Pros
The Mate 20 may be around the corner, but that is not stopping Huawei from introducing new color variants for the P20 and P20 Pro. At IFA 2018, Huawei introduced four new variations: two glass-backed gradient models, and two leather-backed models.
For the glass-backed models, Huawei introduces two new gradients named Pearl White and Morpho Aurora. The latter is a variation of the popular Twilight color, except this version has a broader gradient that fades into black at the right angle. The pearl white color is a variation of the Pink Gold color, except that this one is more on the white side with subtle gradients of pink when viewed at the right angle.
As for the leather-backed ones, Huawei literally ditched the fragile glass back for classy and elegant real leather in either black or brown. Aside from the unusual material of choice, these variants get an upgrade to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Because of the upgrades, the leather-backed versions are more expensive at €999(~Php 62.1k).
No word yet if Huawei will be bringing these new color variants to our shores.
