Meet Huawei MediaPad [UPDATED]

Huawei gave a select crowd of journalists and bloggers a sneak peek at their newest product for the Philippines — the Huawei MediaPad. The MediaPad is a 7″ Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet that’s 10.5mm thin and weighs in at 390g (0.86 pounds). Huawei promised a very affordable price point but they declined to give actual figures during their press launch earlier. It should be available this November through local dealers and Telcos like SMART and Globe.

The HSPA+ compatibility is a very welcome feature. SMART has been aggressively rolling out their HSPA+ network through their SMART Bro Rocket brand. I definitely see this as a great productivity tool for people in Digital Marketing and Community Management.
