Huawei Mid-Ranged Device Outed on TENAA

Along side the powerhouse Honor branded phone that passed its TENAA certification was a mid-ranged smartphone carrying Huawei’s branding. It’s spec sheets seems to suggest that it could be a smaller brother to the recently released GR5 2017, but won’t bear its dual camera setup on the rear. Let’s take at the spec sheet that, for now, only goes by its model number: WAS-AL00.

Huawei WAS-AL00 Specifications

  • 2.1GHz Kirin Processor
  • 4GB of RAM
  • 5.2-inch Full HD display; 1920×1080 resolution
  • 64GB of storage
  • 12-megapixel rear camera
  • 8-megapixel front camera
  • Fingerprint scanner
  • 2900mAh battery
  • Android 7.0 Nougat

It’s hardware definitely has similarities to the recently released GR5 2017, aside from its smaller screen size, the fact that it doesn’t rock dual cameras, and has a bit more RAM. Could this be a GR5 2017 Lite? Possibly. We could be seeing more details about this and the other phone, whose specs were also outed by TENNA, as Mobile World Congress draws nearer and nearer. We’ll keep our eyes peeled.
