Indeed an interesting setup
We know that the P20 Pro will be the most interesting model out of the P20 trio Huawei will be launching on March 27. That triple camera setup is intriguing, and the specs are definitely something.
Aside from featuring Leica optics, the P20 Pro’s triple rear camera will consist of an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, a 20-megapixel monochrome camera, and an insane 40-megapixel camera. Combining the powers of the 8-megapixel camera and 40-megapixel camera, the P20 Pro has a 5x Hybrid Zoom built in. The aperture for the three cameras ranges from f/1.6 to f/2.4.
In the whole history of smartphone cameras, only Nokia’s PureView 808Â and Lumia 1020 smartphones offered cameras that have at least 40-megapixels in resolution, so it is interesting to see Huawei’s approach to an ultra-high megapixel smartphone camera.
Other specs for the P20 Pro include a Kirin 970 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2240 resolution, and a 4000mAh battery with Huawei’s SuperCharge tech. Expected price for the P20 Pro is at €899(~Php 57.5 k).
