Huawei Teases Upcoming Event in Paris

A new series of phones with an under-display camera?

It turns out that Huawei is not yet done with launching new smartphones—specifically high-end and innovative ones. Following last month’s Mate 30 series launch, Huawei sent invites for an October 17 event in Paris.

The event poster hints that there will be multiple new phones to be launched on October 17, and the image hints at a possible new innovation: the first commercially-available phone with an under-display camera.

While OPPO and Xiaomi have showcased the tech earlier this year, both brands have yet launched a commercially-available phone with an under-display camera, so Huawei might be the first brand to introduce the tech to a wider audience.
