Over 30 phones will be getting Android 10
Despite Huawei’s troubles with Google, the Chinese company is still committed in delivering timely Android updates to its phones. A presentation shown by President of Software Development Chenglu Wang showed that Huawei is unfazed by its issues with the US government and is looking at upgrading over 35 models over to the Android 10-based EMUI 10.
First on the update schedule are the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro whose updates are slated to arrive this November. Other phones like the Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS along with Honor’s 20, View 20 and Honor 20 Pro are scheduled for December. More models are expected to be updated to Android 10 by 2020.
Interestingly enough it looks like Huawei’s Mate 30 will launch with EMUI 10 as well when it’s unveiled on September 19.
