Huawei surprises everyone with the silent launch of the Y8p in the Philippines. Compared to the Y7p that arrived in the Philippines last February, the Y8p gets a more premium 6.3-inch Full HD+ OLED panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a higher-resolution 16-megapixel selfie snapper, and USB-C connectivity.
It is similar to the Y7p with its 4000mAh battery, triple rear camera setup (48-megapixel f/1.8 main camera; 8-megapixel f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor), and Kirin 710F octa-core processor. It comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, along with Android 10-based EMUI 10.1 out of the box.
Prior to its announcement in the Philippines, the Y8p was launched in China as the Enjoy 10s.
The Y8p will be available exclusively to Huawei’s Shopee store for Php 12,999 from September 2 to 8. The first 200 customers will get the Freelace wireless earphones with their purchase.
