We hope it is priced right
It looks like the Y9 Prime 2019 is coming to the Philippines roughly two months after Huawei silently launched it. Retailer Tek Yap teased on his personal Facebook page that the triple rear camera-sporting mid-ranger is heading to our shores soon.
The upcoming phone is one of the few Huawei devices to sport a pop-up module, home to a 16-megapixel snapper. The Y9 Prime 2019 comes with a notch-free 6.59-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by a Kirin 710F processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
As for the triple rear camera setup, you get a 16-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Keeping the lights on is a 4000mAh battery.
The Y9 Prime 2019 is priced at around AED 949 in a listing at Huawei’s Abu Dhabi site. When converted, it is priced at around Php 13.5k, making it competitively priced for a phone with a pop-up module and a triple rear camera setup.
