With recent Huawei phones like the Enjoy 20 series rocking MediaTek processors, the Chinese brand adds another MediaTek-powered phone with the Y9a. While it looks very similar to the Enjoy 20 Plus, the Y9a is a 4G phone, rocking a Helio G80 processor instead of the 5G-ready Dimensity 720 used on the Enjoy 20 Plus.
You also get a notch-free 6.63-inch Full HD+ display and a 16-megapixel pop-up front camera on the Y9a, though you are stuck with a 60hz refresh rate. As for the cameras, the Y9a gets a quad-rear setup that consists of a 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and 2-megapixel macro camera.
Depending on the region, the Y9a comes with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, along with a 4200mAh battery with 40w charging (for Middle East, Africa, and some countries in Middle Asia) or 22.5w charging (other regions).
Huawei has yet revealed the official price of the Y9a.
