There are a few compromises though
If Huawei’s fast charging tech on the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, didn’t wow you enough, Huawei’s Watt Lab has figured out somehow how to quick charge a battery to 48% in 5 minutes in its video. The thought of such speedy charging definitely caught our attention However, there are a few things we noticed in the almost-2 minute video.
Towards the 50-second mark (where Huawei showcases their new tech), the battery is a removable type, unlike most of the fixed internal batteries we are seeing in smartphones recently. Also, our eagle eyes noticed that the battery in use has more terminals than a normal battery.
Being a prototype, Huawei will be spending a good amount of time in developing their newest innovation to be used for their future phones.
