More reasons to go with the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus
Huawei has officially launched the P10 and P10 Plus in the Philippines today, and while we’ve already reviewed both phones (which you can read here and here), the Chinese company had a few more surprises in store for potential buyers of the phone.
For one thing, both devices will enjoy Premium VIP Service, which includes one to one unit exchange to replace a damaged unit if something bad happens to it.
Of course you can’t just be nilly-willy with your phone hoping to score a replacement, and terms and conditions will apply to the replacement scheme. If your phone falls into the toilet (or any moderately deep body of water) it’s on you, but if the screen shatters when you drop it then Huawei will happily replace it for you ONCE. It’s not a full proof replacement service, but it is something – that’s more than we’ve heard from their competitors.
We were hoping that Huawei would cover accidental drops and spills into water since both phones don’t carry an IP rating, though we’re still thankful that your phone is still somewhat protected from accidental mishaps.
