iPhone 5C is OFFICIAL
Apple just announced that they’re replacing the iPhone 5 with two new models. The first one is called the iPhone 5C. This smartphone basically has almost the same specs as the iPhone 5 but it comes in a plastic polycarbonate body in different colors and comes with iOS 7 out of the box. The fantastic news is that it will still have LTE connectivity (yay).
There’s no official price yet for the Philippines but Apple did announce that it will be available in Singapore and other countries starting September 20. More than a hundred other countries (which most likely includes us) will officially get it on December. You can expect to see the iPhone 5C in the Philippines a day after the 20th though since we have a lot of “importers”, hehe.
Come on Smart. Offer something compelling in December. All-in with Unlimited LTE under Plan 1500? That would so rock!
Really weird case
Apple also announced that the iPhone 5C will have cases available. I don’t know about you though but I hate the new cases. They look like cheese graters. Not digging this one, lol. Will just wait for SGP or other notable third party brands to come up with accessories.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing the iPhone 5C land in the PH! We’ll definitely do our best to get a review unit ASAP.
