We’re seeing an abundance of lightweight laptops at CES 2021 this year, and LG is using the opportunity to announce refreshed models of its ultra-light line. The new models tout lightweight chassis (with an average weight of 1.1 kilos across most of the models announced) along with large batteries and insane longevity.
The new model line includes five laptops in this series, three in the standard laptop configuration (LG Gram 17 17Z90P, LG Gram 16 16Z90P, and LG Gram 14 14Z90P) and two 2-in-1 versions (LG Gram 16 16T90P and LG Gram 14 14T90P). Their specs are roughly the same across its entire range, with the laptops sporting Intel’s latest 11th Gen Tiger Lake CPUs coupled with Intel’s Iris Xe Graphics. They also have either 8GB or 16GB of RAM, M.2 Dual SSD Storage slots, and Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt 4 come built-in for its connectivity features.
Overall, the LG Gram offers a wealth of options for consumers looking for a lightweight laptop option, LG Gram series definitely banks on its major selling point with some slight variations in terms of battery and weights across its models.
The prices of these laptops range have yet to be released however a safe guestimate is that it may play around the USD 1600 (PHP 78K) for the 17″ standard model based on its earlier model. The laptop series is expected to be released in the US early this year.
