Meizu’s going full tilt with dual displays.
Meizu’s recently released Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus flagships both come with a secondary back display, designed for the user to view notifications, access the music player, and take selfies with the dual rear cameras. A new leak has revealed that Meizu is working to bring out another handset with a secondary display.

The leaked photos are supposedly of the Meizu X2, a mid-range smartphone featuring a circular rear display. The rumor mill is speculating that this circular panel won’t be as featureful as the Pro 7 series’ rectangular screen, but it should be able to display basic information such as notifications, time, and battery capacity.
As for the Meizu X2 itself, aside from the dual display feature, and a single back camera, not much is known yet about the mid-ranger. We’ll keep you posted with more details as soon as they trickle down from the gossip grapevine.
