Lenovo Launches updated Think Portfolio with New ThinkPad Laptops, ThinkVision Monitors

New business-centric laptops from the iconic ThinkPad line

Lenovo unveiled its 2019 portfolio of ThinkPad business line with four laptops and two monitors. Its 2019 ThinkPad portfolio comprises of the T490, X390, L390, and E390, while its ThinkVision portfolio includes the M14 and S24E-10.

The ThinkPad line maintains its iconic design elements like the red TrackPoint, jet black color, and familiar boxy ThinkPad design while offering a suite of security features like the ThinkShutter camera.

The T490 leads the ThinkPad line and sports a battery that is rated for up to 12 hours on a single charge. Compared to its predecessor, the T490 has a 22% slimmer bezel, giving it a more compact footprint. Powering it is an 8th-generation Intel processor with optional MX250 discrete GPU and up to 48GB DDR4 RAM. You also get Rapid Charge tech that allows you to juice up the laptop to 80% with just one hour of charging.

The higher-end T490s sports a carbon fiber cover, making it lighter compared to its non-S sibling.

Those looking for an ultraslim business notebook can check out the X390. The 16.5mm thin laptop weighs only 1.22kg and sports a 13.3-inch display that can be tilted up to 180 degrees. It comes with a rated battery life of up to 17.6 hours on a single charge. Like the T490, the X390 has Rapid Charge tech to quickly juice up its battery.

Those looking for an affordable alternative to the X390 can opt for the L390. The slim business laptop sports a 13.3-inch touchscreen display and can be equipped with Intel Optane for better performance. Powering it is an 8th-generation Intel processor, up to 512GB SSD, and up to 32GB DDR4 RAM.

Completing the lineup is the entry-level E490 and E490s. Both models come with 8th-generation Intel processors, optional SSD hard drives, optional AMD Radeon 540X Discrete GPU, and up to 32GB DDR4 RAM.

For its ThinkVision monitors, Lenovo is bringing its M14 portable monitor to our shores. The USB-C-powered monitor has a 14-inch Full HD display and sports two USB-C ports.
