It also debuts the local availability of the RTX-powered Legion Y740

As part of its efforts to expand in the Philippines, Lenovo opened its first Legion concept store on the fourth floor of SM North EDSA Annex. The concept store sells Lenovo’s Legion gaming laptops, along with gaming-centric IdeaPad models. Visitors can personally view and try out Legion’s various laptop offerings that include the Legion Y540, Legion L730, and Legion Y740.

Aside from the laptops, the concept store’s circular table at the middle of the premises will be used to host mini gaming tournaments in the near future.

With the store’s opening, Lenovo hopes that their Legion gaming brand can strengthen its presence in the Philippines. “As the gaming market grows exponentially every year, we at Lenovo would like to maintain our commitment in providing best performing and top of the line devices to the Philippines, which includes the Legion line of gaming notebooks,” Lenovo Philippines Country General Manager Michael Ngan said.

One of the key highlights of the concept store’s opening is the announcement of the Legion Y740’s availability. This new premium gaming laptop from Legion is the brand’s first offering to come equipped with an NVIDIA RTX GPU.

Key features of the Legion Y740 include an Intel Core i7-8750H CPU, NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 256GB SSD, a 15.6-inch Full HD 144hz panel with native support for GSync, and a keyboard with Corsair’s iCUE RGB system.

The Legion Y740 will retail for Php 119,990 and comes with a two-year on-site warranty. Those who will pre-order until March 31 get a JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth speaker and Lenovo Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) support.

Nice brand sadly stores like Lenovo Concept Store, PC Express and Joneco sell them but doesn’t do service warranty. Beware people choose your store wisely. They hacked the OS of the Lenovo laptops.
