Lenovo Unveils New Legion Gaming Laptops

They defy the typical gaming laptop look

Taking advantage of E3, Lenovo unveiled its refreshed lineup of Legion gaming laptops during the annual gaming convention. Instead of going the gamer aesthetic, both the Legion Y530 and Y730 have a stealthy all-black look, making them usable for both business meetings and intense gaming sessions.

The Legion Y530 sports a 15-inch Full HD display with skinny bezels, along with a GTX 1050 or GTX 1050Ti GPU, Intel  i7-8750H or i5-8300H processors, up to 512GB PCIe SSD, up to 2TB HDD, and up to 32GB DDR4 RAM. Ports include 1x USB Type C, 3x USB 3.1, Ethernet port, combo headphone jack, and a MiniDisplay port. Powering the laptop is a 52.5WHr battery.

 

On the other hand, the Y730 comes in either 15-inch or 17-inch Full HD display and sports an all-aluminum chassis. In addition, you get a Corsair iCUE keyboard. While you get the same processor, RAM and storage options of the Y530, the Y730 comes with a dedicated Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port, along with a bigger 76WHr battery.

The Y530 starts at $930(~Php 49.4k), while the Y730 starts at $1180(~Php 62.7k) for the 15-inch model and $1250(~Php 66.4k) for the 17-inch model.
