Motolite na ito!
We had high hopes for the battery endurance for Lenovo’s Vibe P1, that big batteried, unibody aluminum mid-range smartphone that the Chinese company launched a few weeks ago in the PH.
Lenovo Vibe P1 specs
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor
- Adreno 405 GPU
- 2GB of RAM
- 5.5-inch full HD display, 1920 x 1080 resolution
- 32GB of storage, expandable
- 13-megapixel rear camera with flash
- 5-megapixel front camera
- 3G, LTE
- WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS
- Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI
- 5000mAh battery
That’s because the phone has a massive 5000mAh battery inside its sexy frame, and combined with the power efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, the P1 managed to score an amazing 12 hours and 37 minutes on our PCMark battery benchmark. That’s the highest ever score we’ve recorded thus far this year, and by our estimate, a full charge on the phone should probably yield you around three days’ worth of battery life on a single charge if you manage it right.
We’re still finishing up our review on this phone, but it seems like this may be the phone for people who absolutely hate running out of battery in the most inopportune time.
In the meantime, you can read our hands-on of the Vibe P1 and check out our hands-on video above.
