Lenovo Vibe Shot Debuts on Lazada for Php15,729

If you’ve been eagerly waiting for the Lenovo Vibe Shot, you can now get a unit here in the Philippines through Lazada. It currently sells for Php15,729 which places it on a collision course with the venerable ASUS Zenfone 2. Take note though that it looks like that this is still an unofficial local release. The listing on Lazada says that this item is shipped from abroad which means you may not be getting the full local Lenovo warranty.

  1. Yeehaw!!! A great alternative and better camera than Zenfone2 πŸ™‚

    Official Lenovo warranty please.

  2. The one listed on Lazada says it has MediaTek on board but on the (weirdly written) description it says Snapdragon 615. The seller (KILE) also has 3 stars out of 5 rating.

    Something smells fishy.

  3. Problem with these imported units is that they are often loaded with unwanted software, that is baked to rom. These software (malware?) cannot be uninstalled and sometimes won’t allow you to even disable them… And worst of all, they either hide the system update or won’t connect to the manufacturer update site, so no OTA updates.

    Speaking from experience.

  4. just checked the ad,its possible that this is the china version i’ve read somewer, the difference between
that and the vibe shot that we know is the HD screen and a different processor (same one in the meizu m2 note)

  5. Nakakatawa yung specs ng Lazada, mali mali:

    “Octa-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53, MediaTek MT6753”
    “Power Mali-450”

  6. The version from Lazada is fishy, never heard of Vibe Shot coming with a MediaTek CPU. It’s not even listed on GSMArena, only the Snapdragon 615 is official one.

  7. May i know where are you reviewing the unit from in the video?

Hope to get your review soon.

Been itching to buy a mid range phone.
    Currently on my list are:
OnePlus One, Mi Note, Mi 4..

  8. Is it worth it at 15.7k? ..If you’re stupid enough to fall for it. You can buy a decent camera
at 3 – 5k with a good optical zoom which is always the achilles heel of every phone cam. That argument alone necessitates a separate cam. If one doesn’t need the optical zoom, smartphones are getting better already at it at much cheaper price range. So, no, smart money say”s its not worth it.

  9. I’m just worried about the CPU does it overheat like every other phone that uses it? i really find this price compelling thanks to the LG G4 like camera <3 but then again it is from a shady seller. So… Lenovo… please keep it under 16k πŸ™‚ or else πŸ˜€
