Lenovo Wants to Challenge the Microsoft Surface Pro with the Yoga Duet 7i

It is the first detachable 2-in-1 from Lenovo

Microsoft’s Surface Pro is up for a challenge, as Lenovo announced their first detachable 2-in-1 offering with the Yoga Duet 7i. With features such as a detachable wireless keyboard, integrated kickstand, and active pen, the Yoga Duet 7i comes with different modes like a traditional laptop mode, tablet mode, and a new free mode that lets you use the tablet while the keyboard is detached.

The Yoga Duet 7i comes with a 13-inch 2k IPS touchscreen display with an infrared camera for secure Windows Hello facial logins and is powered by 10th-generation Intel Ice Lake CPUs with Iris Plus integrated graphics. You get two USB-C ports on the Duet 7i.

For the active pen, you can choose either Lenovo’s Active Pen 2 or the all-new E-Color Pen. The latter can detect any color by tapping the pen on any object with your desired color, making it a great tool for those whose work prioritizes accurate colors.

Configuration options include up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB SSD, WiFi 6, and LTE connectivity. Battery life is rated for up to 11 hours.

Those looking for an affordable option (and alternative to the Surface Go 2) can go for the Yoga Duet 3i. This 2-in-1 has the same form factor as the Yoga Duet 7i, but comes with a smaller 10.3-inch IPS display. Configuration options include Pentium Gold processors, up to 8GB RAM, up to 128GB internal storage, and up to 7 hours of battery life.

The Duet 7i will be available next month with a starting price of 1199 Euros(~Php 66.4k), while the Duet 3i will be available in July with a starting price of 429 Euros(~Php 23.8k).
