Lenovo’s Miix 630 Has Incredible Battery Life Thanks To Qualcomm SoC

It’s expected to last 20 hours on a single charge

While Lenovo’s new Miix 630 looks like most Windows 10 2-in-1’s you see being sold today, it has one key difference that allows it to have extraordinary battery endurance: it’s powered by a Qualcomm chip rather than a traditional processor offered by Intel and AMD.

Yes, the Miix 630 joins a small but growing number of 2-in-1s that are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor, which is more power efficient than the ones offered by Intel or AMD. There’s a trade-off though – the SD 835 is less powerful than the ones being offered by Microsoft’s traditional partners.

Still, the Lenovo Miix 630 has a lot to offer professionals looking for a long-lasting 2-in-1: a 12.3-inch WUXGA+, comfortable keyboard, a pen for artistic types as well as storage options up to 256GB.

The Lenovo Miix 630 is priced at $799 with the stylus and keyboard attachment, and will be released in Q2.
