Extreme bokeh for selfies?
We’ve seen selfie phones come with all sorts of gimmicks to improve the selfie experience, from powerful front flashes to rotating main cameras, but Lenovo’s upcoming Vibe S1 is quite unique. If the certification from TENNA is any indication, it seems that the Vibe S1 will be the first ever smartphone to come with two front facing cameras.
It’s weird we know, but Lenovo’s dual-camera setup isn’t unheard of – we’ve seen phones like the Honor 6 Plus pull it off with great effect and it seems Lenovo is trying to get the same effect, but for selfies. We’re not sure if producing copious amounts of bokeh in selfies is a thing that consumers want, but hey, we’ll never know until someone tries, right?
Anyway, the Vibe S1 is slated to have a 5-inch full HD display, octa-core 1.7GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage plus microSD expansion as a well as a 13-megapixel rear camera and twin front facing 8-megapixel cameras.
