The G5 and V20 will be getting the update as well
While we are all waiting for the G7 ThinQ, LG did not forget the G6 as it announced that it will be rolling out Android Oreo for their 2017 flagship. This follows after seeding Android Oreo to the V30 last December.
Aside from the G6, LG confirmed that the G5 and V20 will be getting Android Oreo as well. G6 users from South Korea will be receiving the update on April 30 via LG’s Software Upgrade Center with a global rollout to follow later on.
The update includes the usual Android Oreo features and AI functionality similar to what the V30s ThinQ has.
