But it’ll be G4 owners in Poland that’ll get it first
While other companies are just getting around announcing what phones will be getting Android Marshmallow, LG has gone ahead and announced their flagship, the G4, will not only get Android Marshmallow but a definite timeframe when the update will drop. The sweet, sweet Marshmallow update will be hitting G4 owners by next week, though it’ll be the Poles who will be getting the first taste of Android Marshmallow, with other countries following suit.
Users in markets like Europe, Asia and the Americas will follow. Just a few weeks ago Google made the OTA update for the Nexus line of devices live (which also includes OTAs for Android One devices) and LG is probably the first company to announce a concrete update plan to their device.
