LG Launches “Budget” X4 Smartphone In South Korea

The new phone has LG Pay built-in

LG has announced a new smartphone in their native country of South Korea. The LG X4 is supposed to be a budget device, sporting a 5.3-inch resolution HD display along with a Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage with microSD expansion.

LG X4 specs

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor
  • Adreno 308 GPU
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 5.3-inch HD display, 1280 x 720 resolution
  • 16GB of expandable storage
  • 8-megapixel rear camera with AF and LED flash
  • 5-megapixel camera
  • Dual SIM
  • 3G, LTE
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, fingerprint scanner, LG Pay
  • 3000mAh battery
  • Android Nougat

The main shooter is a 8-megapixel deal while the front is a 5-megapixel camera. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back, what looks to be a mostly plastic construction, as well as a 3000mAh battery, Android Nougat and LG Pay capability built in.

Weirdly enough, LG is pricing the X4 at 297,000 South Korean won, which puts it at Php 14.4K in our currency. We would have expected better pricing for the specs you’re getting, but there might be something else at play here.
