When premium, mainstream TWS earbuds are discussed, Apple’s AirPods Pro is what often comes to mind. Aside from being the first AirPods to have silicone tips, the AirPods Pro has one of the best ANC in its class—even if Huawei’s FreeBuds Pro might have to contest that.
While Samsung is yet to launch its own premium TWS Earbuds with ANC, fellow Korean brand LG unveiled its own offering with the TONE Free HBS-FN7. Here’s what you get with the HBS-FN7:
- Premium audio tuning done by British audio company Meridian, which also allows for further fine-tuning using the LG TONE app.
- A unique UVnano charging case that uses ultraviolet light to eliminate 99.9% of E. coli and S. aureus bacteria on the earbuds’ inner mesh.
- Adjustable ear gels and twist-fit Vortex Ribs for the earbuds for a better fit.
- Up to 15 hours of continuous use with ANC on (21 hours with ANC off).
LG is pricing the TONE Free HBS-FN7 at KRW 219,000(~Php 9.5k), which is a pretty fair asking price for a pair of TWS earbuds that aims to go against the AirPods Pro.
