Just before this year’s Mobile World Congress, LG introduced two mid-ranged devices in their X series — The LG X Cam and LG X Screen. Fast-forward to three weeks ago, the Korean company bolstered the lineup by adding four more phones into the mix: the LG X Power, X Mach, X Style and X Max. If that wasn’t enough to convince you that LG is, indeed, serious about their X brand, they have just announced two more smartphones joining the X Series — the LG X5 and the LG X Skin.

Phones in the X series are usually named after a special feature that makes it different. The X Cam has dual cameras, the X Screen has a secondary display, and the X Power has a 4,100 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. We have yet to find out what the X5 brings to the table — we’re hoping that it’s more than just the 5.5-inch screen, but the X Skin is most likely aimed at fashion conscious consumers with its choice of colors (Gold or Silver) plus its thinner (6.9mm) and lighter (122g) build.
Both phones are expected to be released in Korea this month with the LG X5 priced at $175 (P8,234) and the X Skin at $200 (P9,410).
