More Smartphones Launches Starting October
Based on leaks and tips from our sources from multiple local brands, we’re going to see a barrage of product launches of cheap Android smartphones with various selling propositions starting this October. We’ve already seen a glimpse of what’s to come with the spotting of the 700MHz LTE capable Cherry Mobile Flare A3 and the Cherry Mobile Flare J3 with the Fingerprint Scanner. There was also the incredibly budget-friendly CloudFone Thrill Boost and the Starmobile Up Sense which also had a fingerprint scanner.
If you thought that was already it, think again.
NeedROM just updated their database of smartphones and it already showed a bunch of new Cherry Mobile handsets which you can see below.
And that’s just the holiday line-up of Cherry Mobile. We have a lot of sources tipping us that Starmobile, MyPhone, Cloudfone, Torque, and Firefly Mobile have several devices slated for launch in the coming two months.
Hold on to your cash folks if you’re in the market for a local branded smartphone. It will be nice to see everything they have up their sleeves before you make your decision.
